Who and what is The Autism Family Godmother?

​

The Autism Family Godmother was founded by Leslie-Ann, an Autism Specialist and Family Support  Consultant. Leslie-Ann holds a BA degree in Early Childhood Studies and a Masters in Special and Inclusive Education from the Institute of Education (IOE), University College London (UCL). She also is an ADOS-trained practitioner. Leslie-Ann is passionate about providing autism support services, that are not only accessible but also neurodivergent affirming, for individuals, families, organisations and schools. Owing to her expertise in early childhood development and autism, along with over 10 years experience of working within the autistic community, in various roles, Leslie-Ann, adopts an eclectic style incorporating numerous evidence-based interventions such as Attention Autism, Lego Therapy and The Zones of Regulation Curriculum. Leslie-Ann utilises an individual-centric approach and in turn provides tailored strategies and support for the individuals, families and practitioners that she works, hand in hand, with.
